Property Update from Ryan Growney, General Manager

Although I do not have much information to provide at this time, I wanted to touch base with everyone.  We are working on several possible timelines to reopen, but do not have any true confidence in an actual date. 

I did want to provide a couple of updates.  

  • All full – time, hourly employees will continue to receive 32 hours of pay in addition to full benefits through Sunday, May 31st.  If the closure lasts longer than May 31st, this will be reevaluated. 
  • All Salaried employees will continue to receive 80% of their pay in addition to full benefits through Sunday, May 31st.  If the closure lasts longer than May 31st, this will be reevaluated.    
  • This Friday, April 10th, we will again be operating our drive thru check pick up line in Valet.  If you receive a physical check, it can be picked up in valet by showing your badge between 8am and 8pm.  All employees with direct deposit, will still be paid in that fashion.  
  • You can visit southpointteam.com to submit a question, but please make sure we have your up to date email address.  Though there is not much to share at this time, we believe once the shutdown is lifted it will happen very quickly.
